He’s built FinTech’s most impressive network, and he puts it to use for aspiring entrepreneurs whose business plans and passion catch his eye. Under his leadership Prosper - America’s first market lending platform - grew the business from $9 million to over $400 million in new loans a month. Ron brings more than 20 years' experience in sales, marketing and business development across the hedge fund, broker dealer and registered investment advisor industries. He is often called the Godfather of FinTech and spends much of his time investing in and advising FinTechs, including high-profile players like DocuSign and SoFi. After a brief start-up experience in Belgium, Wim was responsible for building op many organisations from zero. He played a leading role in the development of i2 technologies, Real Software Group, IBBT (which was later renamed to iMinds), and B-Hive. Currently, he works as CEO of B-hive Europe. B-Hive wants its members to benefit in three ways: through meeting, connecting and discovery. It provides access to market, knowledge, funding and government for its members. Together with one of the main regulators in Belgium, Wim will learn you more about the GDRP and regulatory Sandboxes.

Jurgen is the founder Clear2pay and build the company out into a global player in the payments industry before selling it to FIS (NYSE : FIS) at the end of 2014. Clear2Pay now has 1400 people and offices all over the world and worked for the top 50 global banks in the world. Jurgen stayed in the FinTech scene since then and became managing parter of VC firm Smartfin Capital & founded B-Hive. B-hive provides value to all organizations that are dealing with the impact of digital technology on the financial system. Jurgen is an expert in managing and efficiently scale up a (FinTech) company.

Julian is CEO Ayarma Ltd - an advisory firm. Successful mandates have included writing digital and fintech strategies for a large European bank, board advisory on FinTech, deep technical due diligence for private equity and venture capital firms in areas ranging from custom hardware and silicon vendors to security companies, mentoring early stage technology companies with a combination of technical strategy, go-to-market support and commercial guidance, and supporting successful fund raises.
